 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American comedian, actress and activist She was born to Jewish parents in the Soviet Union and started her career as child actress after she immigrated to the United States. She came to prominence for her roles in AT&T commercials on television as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016, and then from the year 2020. In addition to commercial appearances, she was a regular in the series of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). After being cast in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rising. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and an American Jew. Her parents and her were exiled from antisemitism by the age of two. They settled in West Hollywood. At five years of age, she began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to the difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. However, she quit the school in her sophomore year. She obtained an GED and then obtained an undergraduate degree in Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. Through the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied improv comedy.
